Bishopstrow College occupies an 8 acre site in Wiltshire.  The College is set in beautiful grounds, with extensive gardens and playing fields.  With plenty of green space, students are encouraged to spend plenty of time outdoors.  We are located near the ancient market town of Warminster and have many places of interest within easy reach, including Stonehenge, Bath and the cathedral city of Salisbury.

There are four boarding houses.  Most students live in Barrow House, at the heart of the main campus.  This is where all meals are served.  There are also three further boarding houses – Mandalay and Riverside are situated across the road from the main campus, whilst Aldhelms is situated a short distance from the College.  All accommodation is owned by the College.  Overall, there is capacity for 100 boarders, with separate houses for boys and girls.

Dormitories accommodate two, three or four students, with a couple accommodating up to eight students during the summer.  Senior College students live in shared rooms of two, three or four, with access to kitchen and sitting room facilities.  Bedrooms are clean, comfortable and furnished to a good standard.  We also provide a laundry service.

Meals are served by a team of experienced and skilled chefs, with all meals prepared on campus using fresh ingredients.  Any special dietary requirements in relation to religious beliefs or any allergies to specific food groups can be met.

The teaching and learning centre – The Henson Building – includes eight classrooms, equipped with interactive touchscreens.  Class sizes are small, enabling you to participate fully in classes, discuss, debate and ask questions.  There is a specialist science laboratory, where you can apply scientific theories learned in Science, through experiments and tests.

Outside of class, you can relax in the library within The Henson Building and spacious communal areas.  There is Wi-Fi access throughout the College.  If you are feeling sporty, you can use our on-campus Multi Use Games Area for basketball or tennis and there is also a football pitch and grass areas for sport.  In our on-campus Fitness Suite, there is a range of fitness equipment available.  During the winter months, the College has access to the local sports centre.
