Welcome to Boarding

Boarding is central to the ethos of the College and the strong Bishopstrow College community enriches our students and helps them build strong friendships and connections.

With Bishopstrow being a stepping stone to mainstream boarding schools, most students board on a full-time basis, although weekly boarding is also available. With high quality pastoral support, boarding at Bishopstrow promotes independence and aids the transition to destination schools.

At Bishopstrow College we often refer to our unique 24-7 curriculum, which ensures that our Boarding offering supports the overall goal to  improve our students English language skills, while preparing them for their next phase of their education. From cultural immersion trips to local sites, evening preparation/homework support, to the allocation of boarding rooms to ensure a diverse mix of nationalities and languages that encourages students to speak English at all times.
