The Middle College Programme is for international students who wish to improve their English, while following a traditional programme of academic subjects.
The Programme features intensive English language tuition and academic study for entry to Senior School. Daily sports and activities, together with a full weekend schedule ensures students are fully prepared for boarding school life.
Students must be aged 11-14 years on entry to the Programme.
The minimum English language level on entry is CEFR Level A2.
Students can enrol for 1, 2, 3, or 4 terms.
Subjects studied include English, Creative Arts, Geography, History, Mathematics, PSHE and Science.
Each week, there are 25 hours of academic tuition (5 hours in the classroom daily) and 5 hours of supervised prep.
End of course assessment includes internal assessment and external Cambridge English Language Assessment examinations (where applicable).
After completing the Middle College Programme, students progress to Senior Schools.
