The Bishopstrow Awards
The Bishopstrow College Awards are designed to support exceptional international students who show great promise but require additional English language support to reach the top UK boarding schools and their full potential.
Each year, a limited number of Awards will be granted to outstanding students joining our Junior, Middle, Senior or IGCSE College Programmes for Three Terms or more.
These merit-based Awards recognise academic ability and broader qualities such as leadership, passion, resilience, ambition, and contribution to school life.
Awards are offered on the basis of School Reports, Character References, and performance in an Interview with the Principal.
Award Levels
The Principal’s Award – up to 40% reduction in all fees (Tuition and Boarding).
The Principal’s Award is for students who are highly likely to achieve great things, during their time at Bishopstrow and beyond.
The Rising Star Award – up to 20% reduction in all fees (Tuition and Boarding).
The Rising Star Award is for students who show clear promise and the potential to achieve great things.
We’re searching for driven, ambitious students who have the potential to achieve big things. If you’re ready to contribute positively to our school community and pursue a place at a top UK boarding school, we want to hear from you. Please contact admissions@bishopstrow.com for further information.
Bursaries
Bursaries are granted in recognition that there are some parents, or even markets, where our programmes are either unaffordable or the fees represent a significant burden. The College supports some families faced with such challenging financial circumstances to ensure their child is able to receive the benefits of a British education. Parents in this position are welcome to apply for Bursary assistance.
Bursaries are assessed on the basis of a means-tested assessment relating to the family’s ability to pay.
The College will normally award Scholarships and Bursaries, but reserves the right not to do so, if in the opinion of the Principal or the Directors, there is not a suitable candidate.
