Admissions Process

Welcome to Bishopstrow College! We will be delighted to review all applications to the College.

Our admissions process is designed to be uncomplicated. Applicants are required to complete the online Application Form and to submit the following documents:

  • A copy of the applicant’s passport, together with a copy of their birth certificate.
  • A stamped copy of the applicant’s most recent School Report.
  • A Character Reference from a teacher or tutor at their current school.
  • Copies of any relevant University of Cambridge English Language Assessment examination certificates, or IELTS study level, if known.

Once we have received the required documentation, applicants are invited to have an online (i.e., Zoom or Teams) or face-to-face interview with a senior member of our academic team. We are looking for EFL learners with a motivation and a real passion to learn not only the English language, but also to learn about British culture and society.

Following the interview, the College will offer a Guaranteed Place or a Waiting List Place or decline the application.

We encourage prospective students and their parents to visit the College to meet the Principal and the academic team and to explore our excellent facilities.
