On Friday 28 February, the Senior Boys hosted Bishopstrow’s ‘sister school’, Padworth College, for a friendly football match. With Storm Jorge approaching – the fourth storm in successive weekends in the UK – it was a wet and windy evening, making conditions challenging for the players.
The fixture was the first outing for both teams and whilst competitive, it was very much a ‘friendly’ if every sense. Padworth were worthy winners, but importantly, fun was had by all!
After the match, both teams returned to Bishopstrow for a tasty supper. We look forward to a return fixture against Padworth soon!
