Welcome from the Head of Boarding

At Bishopstrow College, students are encouraged to be independent and self reliant, but boarding is also about having fun and making friends for life. It is a journey of discovery supported by caring boarding staff.

Boarding offers a happy and vibrant family environment where residential staff supervise and nurture students to ensure comfort and safety at all times. We exceed supervision ratios across all our residences for both pastoral care and the supervision of extra curricular activities.

The College’s five virtues are to be hard working; a team player; kind; polite; and to be organised. If students carry these five virtues with them in life, they will do well.

I look forward to welcoming all incoming students to Bishopstrow.
