Update on Coronavirus – March 20, 202027th July 2019
These are challenging times for everyone and we want to thank you for your ongoing support.
As you know, Bishopstrow is a magical place and our students have all been very sorry to have to head home for a longer break than expected. We have done everything in our power to remain open, but for now we have to accept that defeating the coronavirus requires us to close the doors for a while. We hope and plan to open as quickly as we are able to and will keep you abreast of the situation in the UK each week.
It is characteristic of the Bishopstrow staff, whom our students know so well, that they want to continue to support the students, both current and new, at Bishopstrow. It is with this in mind that we are putting together an exceptional online programme which will not only offer the children the academic support they need, but will also provide, every bit as importantly, the essence of what Bishopstrow is – the ‘Bishopstrow Magic’ as we like to call it. The programme – ‘Bishopstrow Online’ – will cover academic, cultural, social and boarding preparation, as well as daily fitness and exercise.
We are very aware that many parents work and schools are closed throughout the world. Bishopstrow Online will help to meet the challenges that this situation represents, by giving the comprehensive preparation and educational experience for which we are so well-known.
We will share further details next week. In the meantime, have a lovely weekend and try not to worry too much. We look forward to seeing our students online at the start of next term, 30th March 2020.
