Bishopstrow Online has been developed in response to the coronavirus pandemic, with all schools in the UK required to close in mid-March 2020.
Bishopstrow Online delivers a fully interactive Bishopstrow education to students around the world. Our unique online school offers the best of Bishopstrow’s Junior, Middle and Senior College Programmes, preparing international students for onward progression to boarding schools in the UK and other English-speaking markets.
Like the College’s traditional programmes, Bishopstrow Online is aimed at international students who wish to improve their English, whilst following a traditional programme of academic subjects.
Bishopstrow Online offers much more than a remote learning experience. The Programme covers academic, cultural, social and boarding preparation, as well as wellbeing and fitness. Face-to-face lessons are delivered in live, interactive classrooms by Bishopstrow’s professionally qualified teachers. Students are able to interact with their teacher in the video classroom or message their teacher with particular questions, comments or contributions.
Bishopstrow Online was launched on March 30, the fist day of Term 3. Whilst there have inevitably been some teething issues, with both the teaching staff and students getting used to online learning, we are delighted with progress to date. Now at the end of Week 3, we have already recently plenty of positive feedback from students, parents and agents:
