2016/17 Leavers Secure Entry to Top Destination Schools
During the 2016/17 academic year, about 130 students from around the world enrolled at Bishopstrow College. Whilst the vast majority of these students continued their education at a mainstream boarding school after Bishopstrow, a number returned to their home country, having enrolled on Bishopstrow’s 5 week Academic Summer Programme, which provides a ‘taste’ of a British boarding school education. A further group of about 10 students returned to Bishopstrow in September 2017, to continue with their preparation-for-boarding programme.
We were again delighted that students leaving Bishopstrow were able to secure entry at a number of top boarding schools in the UK, including Charterhouse, Cheltenham Ladies College, Concord College, Oundle, the King’s School Canterbury and Uppingham. A small number opted to continue their education at boarding schools in other countries, including Aiglon College in Switzerland and Salem International School in Germany.
