PASTORAL

Boarding

All students live in a very comfortable and large, traditionally English country house in its own attractive grounds of some 7 acres, on the edge of a small market town in south-west England. We do not use host families and all students are resident in the College under the direct care of the Principal.

A spacious teaching block is adjacent to the Main House, and provides large well equipped classrooms with wireless/internet, DVD, VCR and recording equipment, a well resourced ESOL Library and a Director of Studies office.

The Main House is a large 200 year old English country house built on 4 levels and the rooms on its ground floors provide a professional kitchen and dining area, indoor games/ activities room, a formal dining room, common rooms, large lounge/sitting room, student's study / IT centre, library, Principal's dayroom and reception.

All students live in the Main House on the top two floors, which is home to some 20 boys and 20 girls. The Principal's family and the House tutors also live in the Main House, providing 24-hour, 7 day a week pastoral care. Senior students usually share a room with one or two other students and have an en-suite shower room and toilet; juniors share larger rooms of 6 to 8 students of mixed nationalities with separate bathroom facilities. Boys and girls are accommodated completely separately.

Students enjoy a healthy, well balanced and high quality diet supported by an active leisure programme. Safety and security are paramount with a pick-up service from airport to school or vice-versa available on request.

All food is freshly prepared by our three chefs in a well equipped professional kitchen. The cuisine is international to appeal to all tastes and processed or "fast foods" are not served.
