Fees

• Termly fees for the academic year 2008/2009 - £6,950 per term
• Autumn and Spring Term (including expedition week) - (£7795)
• Short Courses (Easter & Summer) - £695 per week

Fees include all tuition, excursions, accommodation, meals and laundry.

Fees do not include travel/health insurance, pocket money, airport transfers, guardianship, extra individual tuition (e.g. music), or specialist activities (e.g. golf, horse-riding), uniform, books, exam fees.

Parents are advised to organise personal and medical insurance for students if preferred if non-EU residents.

No remission of fees is given if a student leaves within the term or is absent for any period.

Course Deposit

To secure a Guaranteed Place the acceptance form must be accompanied by a deposit payment of £600. (pro-rata rate for shorter courses of £60 per week; e.g. £120 for a two week course). The deposit will be held until the student leaves the College, and will then be refunded after deduction of any extra charges incurred. The deposit is non-refundable if the student fails to attend or if the registration is withdrawn. The only exceptions will be in cases where a visa has not been granted through no fault of the student or parents or in cases of medically certified illness. Any incidental expenditure incurred by the student (with the exception of pocket money) will be off-set against the deposit and will be accounted for on the student’s departure from the College.

Payment Details

Full fees should be paid on at least four or eight weeks before commencement of the course or term. Payments should be made by Cheque/Banker's Draft payable to 'Bishopstrow College'. These should be IN STERLING only.

Airport Transfers

Airport transfers MUST be ordered on the form provided and reach us at least 7 days before the transfer is due.

All students will be met by College Staff or by an authorised College Chauffeur. Where appropriate it may also be necessary to charge a small excess fee to cover waiting and parking.

Other collection points can be quoted for on request.

These charges are based on one person transfers. A deduction will be made where two or more students are sharing.

Please note the arrival/departure dates before booking your son or daughter’s flight ticket.

Arrivals/departures cannot be accepted before 7am (07.00 hrs) or after 10pm (22.00 hrs).
