Courses
The College provides a combination of quality, closely defined and individually focused teaching with a high standard of pastoral care in a strong family setting, offering an invaluable language immersion experience, from absolute Beginner to Advanced level. All courses include a minimum 20 lessons of English as Second Language tuition each week, (speaking, listening, reading and writing skills). Specialist subject teaching, in mathematics and sciences (biology, chemistry and physics) is also taught at appropriate age and ability levels. The academic time table also combines with a daily programme of creative, cultural and physical activities. Students usually stay for between 1 to 3 terms and are taught in small similar ability classes, generally comprising of 6 to 8 students or less. Homework is set and supervised daily on weekday evenings and at weekends.
All courses comprise of the following two elements:
General English Study
There is provision for ESOL classes at Elementary, Lower- Intermediate, Intermediate, Upper Intermediate and Advanced levels. These courses lead towards Cambridge ESOL examinations.
